Research: Women in the Workforce Changing

According to Pew Research Center, women may never make up half of the U.S. workforce. In 2025, women in the workforce will likely peak at 47.1% and then begin to taper off. This is a major change in the rapid growth of working women from 1950 to 2000. There are many reasons given in the article about why this is happening. However, Pew Research Center concludes that outside forces could cause this to change, but for now this is the direction for women in the workforce.
