New Research on Consumers of Digital News

Pew Research Center has just published the latest analysis of consumers who get their news from digital sources and how they then react to it. Online consumers were equally likely to get news from a news website as from a social media source. Most people could recall where they saw a story if they’d linked to a news site, but couldn’t recall the source if they found the story at a social media site. The digital news analysis has extensive detail addressing everything from fake news to the type of news consumers responded to most often.
