Audrey Knoth handles new business development and she oversees all media relations, new media, government relations, and special events work at Goldman & Associates. It is under her direct guidance that Goldman and its clients have captured honors from PR Week, the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the League of American Communications Professionals, The Communicator and MarComm Awards, the National Association of Government Communicators, the Hampton Roads Black Media Professionals, the Addy and Telly competitions, and others.
Ms. Knoth, who speaks Spanish and French, came to the agency with more than 15 years of broadcast and print news reporting experience. Ms. Knoth’s extensive on-air radio career included seven years at WCMS Radio in Virginia, where she was news director. That organization won a number of prestigious awards during her tenure, including honors from the Radio-Television News Directors Association, the Virginia Association of Broadcasters, and Virginia Associated Press. Ms. Knoth has also worked as a copywriter and free-lance news reporter for the Virginian-Pilot newspaper.
Ms. Knoth is the author of the acclaimed book We All Win: How the company launched on a whim succeeded. She has authored articles on public relations for the Virginian-Pilot and Assisted Living Executive magazine and she has produced a series of podcasts on public relations topics for executives. She earned a bachelor of arts with high distinction in French from the University of Virginia, where she was an Echols Scholar. Ms. Knoth has also completed the highest level of Berlitz training in Spanish.
