Pew Research Center has released the results of a study showing how employees use social media in the workplace. About half the employers have social media policies limiting use and this does impact how they use social media during work hours. However, a number of employees see this as a negative for their productivity and for their employer’s business. Still, the picture is very mixed, since many employees waste time on personal social media at work.
